Amos and I chose to get married at St. Paul's Methodist Church, which is in the museum/medical district in downtown Houston. A friend of ours got married there and it honestly was love at first sight. I did not know churches existed like this in Texas, the architecture and ceiling looks like something from Europe. This church is so "popular" that they do up to three weddings a day on Saturdays (Times at 11am, 3pm, and 7pm). The pros of this are that because there was a wedding the same day as ours we were able to split the cost of the beautiful flower arrangements that were displayed at the foot of the alter. The cons were that you had to stay within your time window (~5hrs includes time slots for setup, pictures, ceremony, etc.), which when you don't do "first look" photos and wait till after the ceremony to do all your photos together is a little pressing on time.

A Little Easter Decor...
I don't usually decorate for Easter, but we had a chill Sunday a few weeks ago and I was pulling out some spring decor I purchased a year or so ago (The idea was that maybe I would use some of it to host a spring brunch or a spring baby shower one day). Since we organized or "garage" last year and added shelving units all the holiday decorations are so much more accessible and I thought why not mess around with the spring decor for Easter. A few hours later I came up with this little spread on the table. The only items I purchased were the green bunnies, three dollars each at Target (I hot glued fake flowers to them because well I love flowers), and the lavender spheres at World Market. Now I can't wait to dye some eggs, I'm thinking something like this, to go with the blue couch in the front living room. Happy Easter Y'all!

Our Wedding Party Who Are The Best!
I absolutely adore everyone who was part of our wedding party. Like I mentioned before these are the nearest and dearest people in our lives and we loved that we got to share this day with them. There were tons of laughs, an oops (one of the groomsmen hurt is leg the night before and was on crutches), and of course happy tears. I loved the shots Pink Posh, was able to capture of us all together and I couldn't imagine our lives without these people!

Anthropologie Home Decor Obsession!
I love me some Anthropologie, especially the home decor. I don't know exactly when this obsession started, I believe somewhere after I graduated collage and when getting my own place started to become a reality. Now in our second home I have more space and a true entertaining room which means I have gone into Anthropologie decor overload. Let me go over some of my favorite Anthropologie pieces, majority of these pieces I got on sale or had a coupon, because let's be real it can be expensive and all add up quickly, but I believe spending an extra bit of money on quality goes a long way. Trust me I have had a lot of experience with furniture piece buying, you think you are saving in the beginning, but it can come back to bite you if you didn't get the right piece and a sturdy piece. I will take y'all room to room and link some of my favorite Anthro pieces.

Getaway Girls Weekend In Breckenridge Colorado
I thought I would take a break from all the wedding post and share a girls trip I took the first weekend of March (Thursday - Sunday). I joined one of my closest friend on a four day girls trip to Breckenridge, Colorado. This was my first time in Breckenridge; however, my third time in Colorado. I have to say that we had a ton of fun and I want to go back!
